Apathy, so much simpler than concern.
Don’t let them take you from my arms; my grip will only tighten.
My indifference to separation is a means to suppress the feeling of isolation.
Only when we come face to face with the power of complacency,
Do we truly fathom its impact.
It’s ironic, the things we take for granted,
How we suffer at the thought of losing them.
Filled with regret, I’ll change this; I’ll make up for our lost time.
Only so much to find.
Send me a window to your world, to see my reflection on the glass.
A stranger when I come inside, another phase has come and gone.
What is a happy ending? Reality is ongoing.
No purpose in lamenting, to exist is to persist!
As the clouds subside, and tunnels shine from the other side,
(The other side)!
I can see the light as it shines through uncertainty. (Uncertainty)!
Replace the end with a new beginning.
Opening the door to a different setting,
I refuse to dwell on ancient history; it’s no longer me.
Sympathy, so much better for the soul.
Don’t let them take you from my arms; reversal of our roles.
Making up for our lost time.
Easier every day, waking up and moving on, getting back to my true self.
Notified in your dreams, “you know you’re gonna die, right?”
Whisper no goodbyes.
